If it feels good, it probably is.

Good design costs about the same as bad design. 

There’s a market rate that everyone follows, so you don't really know if you're getting good or bad design until you start comparing what you've got with other really good design.

When you see other good design, you start to wonder how you can get good (or better) design without paying too much. But this is the wrong approach to design.   

It takes time to prepare the foundations for good design. It begins with understanding what you have to offer that is truly irresistible to your audience. This is the heart of design. It’s not how it looks, but how it feels to the hearts and minds of the people whose hearts and minds you want to win.

Touch the heart. Engage the mind. It'll be good.
